My name is Kelly, and I'm the creator of No More Sad Mouth. I'm not a doctor, dietician or any other type of medical expert. I'm not even an expert at allergies, I'm just someone who's lived with them my entire life.
15 years ago, I was told by a doctor that I was allergic to dairy. I laughed at her! I thought it was a terrible joke after all the infections, failed treatments, and so many other doctors telling me there was no cure for my chronic illnesses. But she convinced me to "try it for 21 days". I paid for her opinion so I figured I had nothing to lose.
That 21 days was brutal! Learning all the different forms that dairy protiens take on. I read ingrediant label after ingrediant label. I reacted worse to some dairy substitutes than I had to dairy itself! AND THEN, I had to suffer the indignaty that I was actually feeling better and better every day. That 21 days launched a journey I never expected, one I'm still on, and sharing with so many amazing people. No More Sad Mouth is dedicated to those incredible people, and to raising awareness about food allergies and providing safe, tasty meal options for everyone.
